Word to your mom.

Hey guys! I'm really excited for today! We are blessed to hear from Chelsea from Perfect In My Mind. She has become one of my best blogging buddies! I love the funny twist she puts on everything. Oh hey Chelsea, remember that time you showed your whole nursing class your skibbies?
[skibbies are a made up word for underpants]
Oh, you're trying to live that down?
Too bad it will live forever in blogger!!!
:D

Oh right...my title. Where did it come from? I think it sounded like something Chelsea would say. And you know...sometimes you just do what feels right.

The mic is now yours girlfriend!

I've been wanting to do a post about some of my best purchases.  If you know me at all, you know that there really isn't a method to my maddness.  I am kind of all over the place with my interests, and I don't really fit in any specific category.  So, basically these things are random, and have nothing to do with each other.  Ha.
#1:

My mandoline food slicer.

Guys.  This thing freaking rules.  I didn't start cooking at all until about a year ago, and now I'm way into it.  I love making soups and stews, and other delicious vegetable-heavy dishes . . . and boy oh boy has this leetle gadget changed my life!  Seriously.  When I'm using this thing I feel like a wizard.  It's like one second you're looking at a giant carrot stick, and the next second you're looking at like fifty slices of a carrot stick.  I don't even like carrots that much, but using this thing makes me want to eat them all the time, just so I can have magical powers.

So, I guess it has health benifits, too.

#2:

My Snuggie.

I use my Sunggie on a daily basis, and I love it to pieces.  I mean, come on, people!  It's a blanked with sleeves. I have been caught several times wearing this little beauty in public, and I will continue to wear it until the day I die.  Or until the day it dies.

Make fun of me, if you will . . . but I am not alone in my Snuggie adoration.

Exhibit A:

Katy Perry.
She loves aliens.
She is famous.
She has millions of dollars.
She wears a Snuggie.
Exhibit B:
Kendra So-and-So.
She likes to be naked and swear a lot.
She is sort of famous.
She wears a Snuggie.
Exhibit C:

Barack Obama.
President of the United States of America.
He likes Change.
He was photoshopped wearing a Snuggie.

Need I explain further?

And, finally:

#3:

My Radiance purfume by Brittney Spears.

Call Brittney Spears a hussy, if you want  . . . but girlfriend knows how to make a woman smell good.  I wear this stuff almost everyday, and I love it.  It gives me a little bit of confidence to know that I smell like a pop star.  It has kind of a berry/floral/musk smell to it.  I definitely recommend to you.

So, anyway.  That's it!  It probably sounds like I'm trying to sell you something, but I'm definitely not.  Like, one time we were supposed to sell See's candy for an orchestra fundraiser, and I couldn't even do it.  I am scared of selling.  Now it's time for you to tell me what your favorite things are!  It can be anything.  I was like, four seconds away from telling you about my ice cube tray . . . just as a reference point.  Ha!

Told you she was a bucket full of monkeys! I tried to begin some closing remarks but it was way too long. I'll have to leave it in the comments. Thanks again Chelsea! :)

Chelsea, I don't know what that food slicer is but it looks kind of scary. Also, if someone who sings about aliens and being crazy likes snuggies, I bet I'd like them too! haha when I read this I had a really witty and awesome comment and now I can't remember for the life of me! but THANK YOU! :)

As for that food slicer thing it is awesome but I need to give a warning. When I was younger I was slicing a potatoe into french fries and sliced into my wrist (twice) and ended up with 13 stiches.

The more I think about it... the more genius snuggies become :)

Oh my, this is probably the most hilarious thing I've seen in a while. I laughed more and more with every example - especially Obama, LOL! :)
