Just some randoms. A mostly non-pregnancy post

  • I never watched the Jetsons when I was little, but I know I saw at least a little part of an episode. It was when the teenage daughter was being a brat so the mom gave her one of these sweet high-tech helmets to scream into. I think about that invention ALL.THE. TIME! I need one. Especially on days like today.
  • When I hear someone quit smoking, I get ridiculously excited. It's times like that that I should carry around an air horn. Seriously, it's awesome.
  • I never knew heartburn could be so painful. That means my lil stinker is supposed to have lots of hair right? Still not worth it...
  • Everyone who has ever been pregnant, been married to someone who has been pregnant, knows someone who has been pregnant, has seen someone who is pregnant, or has heard of people being pregnant is automatically an expert and will give you more unwarranted advice in a minute than you care to hear in your life.
  • I have not caught onto the shortening words thing and I don't think I ever will. It's adorable, not adorbs. It really don't take much effort finishing the word. It's just not for me.
  • I really like clocks. I would LOVE to have a collection like this.
  • This week I did what I thought was completely impossible. I got sick of pizza. Barro's had a special for two larges. I think I ate it for 4 or 5 meals. But I had also had it a few times in the weeks leading up too. [It's one of the only things that has sounded slightly appealing lately. With all the weight I've lost, I think my body is craving calorie dense foods.]
  • I sit at a front desk for work. People are ALWAYS commenting on how hot it is when they come in. Today I think I counted about 18 in less than two hours. Maybe I should just put a sign on my desk that says "I know, it's hot." Thoughts?
  • The other day I saw a phonecase on Pinterest that was an etch-a-sketch on the back of the phone. I marveled at it for awhile until I realized there's probably a thousand apps that can do the same thing...
  • I hate odd numbers. I was trying to figure out what to say for the last one because I didn't want to leave it at an odd number, haha! I also don't like that I have a due date on an odd day. Baby, please come on an even day. Make momma so proud.

In case you don't follow me on instagram (Alexisks), here's my most recent bump picture. It was from Sunday so it's a few days old. Also, the shirt isn't the best for showing off bumps. :)

Hope you guys are having a good week! Is it just me or does it feel like it should have been friday like 3 times already this week!?

Also, one of my fellow dietetics friends is going to guest post on the blog soon! Are there any nutrition topics you especially want to hear about? :)

Favorite blogger, favorite prego.

I agree with you on the "adorbs" thing. Samesies to "totes."

I think it might be worth it to hire a surrogate mother. I'll start looking around. Maybe I could use the one Michael Jackson used. That seemed to work out alright.

Kidding, of course. I will bear my own fruit. But it sounds a little bit like hell? Are you mad that I said hell?

Alright. I'll chill out with this long comment. <3

Shoot. I said I hated shortening words, then I said "prego". I suck.

You're super adorable! ADORB sounds like an insult. I laugh when people say, "CRAY" instead of "CRAZY". Hahahaha.

I second (or third or fourth based on the comments) hating on shortening words!

Also, I sit at a front desk too for work and everyone always has the same 'funny' comment when they walk in. Usually it's the "it's hot outside." Today it's "wow your shirt is really pink". I just lose patience with giving a courtesy laugh after sitting here for five hours!

I also hate the shortening of words but I think the most annoying "slang" is cray cray.. And I think the sign "I know it's hot" is a great idea! haha

I want to hear about the paleo diet from your nutrition friend. My friend is really into it and I'm curious. Also, that clock collection makes me think of Hook....which means you can probably smash them all with a baseball bat if you get mad.

I hate odd numbers too! For real. Yep, I can't think of even one I like. And I love clocks, too! I have way too many in my house, but I can't help it. Also, I never really use the shortened words because I don't like saying/writing them, but sometimes, I think it's hilarious when other people use them. Especially when they sound like valley girls.

My aunt is the same way about odd numbers! Half of her babies were born on odd month/day/year. So funny! I would LOVE to hear your friends opinion on fruit. I have mixed feelings about it, but would like a professionals opinion!
