The important things.

There's something you should know about my husband and I. We don't have a lot of common interests. He likes loud music that screams, I like happy music. He likes action packed movies ( typical violent guys movies) and I like feel good movies you can learn things from. I hate to vaccum. He hates to read. He's into snowboarding. I've never been. I'm super into dancing, Clint could think of a thousand things he rather be doing. He's an ultra logical engineer, I base decisions from how I feel. I'm a dietetics major. I'm pretty sure Clint ate processed food almost every day (if not every day) before we got married. He likes to plan things out to a T, I'm spontaneous. Clint likes to do dangerous things like surf and I like to be safe and do things like cuddle and watch The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Just kidding about the movie choice.

Anyway. You get it.

There are a few things that pull us together. First, Religion. Second, we both value education very very very highly and it's a huge topic of conversation. And third, we love food. And if it's free, that's like....woah. Like, woah. I don't even know what to say. It's beyond love. Pure passion.

Clint and I are so devoted to our love of food (and since I'm pregnant and if anything sounds REMOTELY good right now I'm all over), we dressed like cows for free food.

Mark your calendars. Every July 15th is cow appreciation day at Chick-fil-a. As if you needed another reason to love that place. Their Chick-fil-a sauce is personally reason enough for me. If you haven't tried it, get in your car right now, and drive to the nearest. I don't care if it takes two days, your life will be changed for the better.

Back to the very important story. On Cow Appreciation day, if you dress like a cow, they give you a free meal. Clint and I got TWO free drinks, TWO chicken sandwiches, and TWO fries. It was pretty awesome. We felt silly doing it at first, but it was seriously so fun. Almost every single person in the restaurant was dressed up. My favorite group dressed up was of age 70+. I think they were from a nursing home. They were just the cutest eating their fries with their cow ears on. It was like a big party. The odd people out were the ones dressed in normal clothes...pshh. Please. You mean you PAID for your food?
We even got our picture with the cow which I guess is on the website. I haven't checked. It was super fun though. And we didn't spend a cent on our costumes. Our poor pocketbooks liked that. You better believe on July 15th 2013 we will be there in our cow get-up, along with our little one. Time to start looking for the cutest cow outfit this side of the galaxy. Brace yourselves, it's gonna be cuteness beyond description.

p.s. one of my favorite cool/sweet/awesome blog buddies, Mikelle, had a bump special on her blog yesterday! I know, I'm always behind with blogging! It's where she featured all kinds of pregnant women saints. Check it out here. It's super sweet.

Ok, I feel like a creeper commenting so soon, but you popped up in my blog list haha. We did that last year at Chick-fil-A and it was amazing! Who the heck would want to PAY for their food when you can get it for FREE?? I love that place. Good for you guys :)

I LOVE that you guys did this! I wanted to but we were lazy bums and didn't get around to it. Next year we'll have to go with our babies all dressed up! Haha. It will be the best!

I'm not brave enough to do that, but I wish I were because Chick-fil-A is so good!
