It's FALL [no boots, dresses, or scarf pictures included]

As much as I've loved all of your posts on the new exciting fall clothes, I must say I'm a different kinda girl in this aspect. Would you like to know what I'm most excited about?

If you didn't already know it would be something edible, you must be new around these parts!
This is my favorite fruit. [debatable]
What was once over $1, is now $.50 each! holla for tha guac!

Oh, and I'm dang excited for Halloween. Clint and I have probably the coolest costume known to man planned out. Want to know what it is? I can't tell you. Patience my friend.

Back to the subject of food. Anyone out there tried the gluten free thing? I'm thinking of trying it because I pretty much feel like crap all the time. I've heard it helps a lot with headache, fatigue, things like that. Send your wisdom my way!

Random thought [as if the rest weren't]: When you say a pun, why do you have to delcare whether you meant it or not. "Pun intended" or "pun not intended"? I'm going to start saying "pun intended to be ambiguous" but then again, that doesn't make sense.

I hereby declare this weekend a stress free weekend!
this video cracks me up!

p.s. thanks for your kind words with my previous post :) you make me feel warm and fuzzy inside!

ahh, the gluten. Well, my tummy and your tummy can be friends in their dastardly ways. Last year, i tried going off dairy. It seemed to help for awhile, and then it seemed not to help. Last spring, i went off gluten for a whole month (NOT EASY). I felt better for awhile, then i didn't. Seeing a pattern here? It's hard because i never know if my tummy relapses, if you well, because a) i accidentally ate gluten, or b) it wasn't the gluten to begin with. I also tried going to the doctor to have them tell me, only to be poked with needles a bunch of times (this traumatizes me) and then be told my tests were "inconclusive." It doesn't seem like the med field has the whole gluten thing down to an exact science yet. In any case, long comment short, if you're interested in going gluten free, it can't hurt. Maybe you'll feel loads better! i know plenty of people who it's worked for. However, it is A LOT of work. A LOT A LOT A LOT. It's a lifestyle, not a diet. You can't just grab food willy nilly when you're out and about. Very few places are "safe"...gluten is in almost all sauces, etc. You pretty much have to always carry your own gluten-free food with you...and that food isn't cheap. Well, this comment is sounding really debbie downer....haha sorry. Hopefully you'll get some good advice out of it!

I would much rather look at pictures of avocados than stupid expensive clothes I'll never be able to afford! I love avocados/guacamole something fierce!

I"m sorry. I know this has nothing to do with this post. I just read your wonderful guest blog on Sloanbook. I have been married for literally almost the same amount of time! I loved your post. It was awesome. Hope you'll come visit my blog too!! :)

I did gluten free for two weeks and it was amazing! If I had more time/money than an 18 year old does, I would do it consistently. I felt so light and energized, but it does take more planning.

i did gluten free for years. It's hard. but worthwhile if you really have a problem with it.

Another thing I try every now and then is going off of sugar and yeast for 2-4 weeks at a time. I find it cleanses my system and I have better digestion and feel a TON healthier. I don't get headaches as often, i have more energy and it's more sustained and i don't have that "crash" in the middle of the day.
