Niceness award.

I have something for you!
It's a niceness award. It comes in the shape of a rainbow, is soft like a puppy, and smells like fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and exists only in our imaginations. Don't worry, you're welcome.
Seriously though.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Thank you for all your kind words regarding my post on Thursday.
[scroll down if you haven't read it yet]
Every. single. one. was so kind and heartfelt. A special thanks to those of you who shared a piece of your story with me. They all touched me. If you wanted to talk to me more privately, or if you have any questions for me ragarding therapy, don't hesitate to e-mail me at dancewithalexis{at}aol{dot}com
I don't regret for a second posting it. Right after I clicked "publish post" I felt like a huge weight was off my shoulders. I knew it was the right thing to do. Thank you, again, for your kindness and patience.

A few weeks ago, I told you guys I cut my hair! Lots of you asked for pictures, and I'm finally meeting that request today.

But first, let's take a moment of silence for my long hair.

Wow I do not have many recent pictures. The most recent in there was from February. It had even grown since then.

Now that we've shown my long hair some proper respect, let me introduce you to what I like to call "husband's picture ambush in the kitchen which makes me look weird but shows my shorter hair"

I'd like to note a few things here. Those bomb red jars I got on clearance at Kirkland years ago. The Salt and pepper shakers and peter the penguin on our oven that we made on Valentine's day. Also the potassium in the bananas to counteract to sodium in the Dr. Pepper! Holla to Applications in Human Nutrition for teaching me that delightful and applicable piece of awesome.

I don't look normal in a single picture, but you get the idea. I got muh hairs cut. A whopping 5 inches. I no longer have mermaid hair. [mermaid hair: hair that covers ya chest] However, I am enjoying cutting my shampoo expenditures in half as well as having a spare 2 hours that I used to spend combing my hair. No wait, who am I kidding? I never combed my hair anyway. [that's not a joke]

Don't I have a saint of a husband for making me look so good? Bless your soul Clint. Bless your soul.

I love it! It's still long so it still looks like you, but it looks very pretty! Love it! Did you get your prize in the mail yet??

I haven't seen your new hair until now! Wish I could've gone to Red Robin with the family--then I would've already been over my shock. Looks really cute!

Love love love your hair! I can't imagine having hair as long as yours was before [my hair just doesn't seem to grow that long], but I love it both ways!

Ah long hair is pretty but short hair is practical. ;D and your hair is still pretty long! I thought it was going to be chin-length! D:
