I'm not good at lying, I'm just a prankster.

Picture this:
Newlywed couple sitting in church on Father's Day Sunday.
They are either holding hands or husband has arm around wife.
It's around 9AM.
Wife wearing a summery floral dress, with green cardigan, and yellow belt at the waist. Oh, and red wedges. Don't forget those. [that has nothing to do with the story I just wanted to tell you how cute my outfit was]
Church had already been going for some time now.
Talks are being given.
Topics are being related back to fathers.
Wife turns to husband and says: I took a pregnancy test last night and you're going to be a dad! I figured now would be a special time to tell you. You can listen to the talks with a different perspective now.
Husband gets uncomfortable, pulls his collar away from his neck and comments on the temperature of the room.
Wife: Oh hey, no need to get so excited! We're just having a kid together. No big.
Husband: No we're not. You're not pregnant. [said with a look on his face that it was certain he wasn't sure what to believe]
Wife: Yeah I am. Why do you think I've been nauseated lately? [which I have]
Husband: You're not pregnant.
Wife: Believe what you want now but when my belly is out to here [holds hand about a foot in front of belly] it might be a little hard denying it.
Husband: You're not pregnant. [still said with an unsure look]
Wife: okay. [smiles]
Speaker: ....and to all you future fathers....
Wife nudges husband.
Husband: you're not pregnant!
Wife: pregnancy tests are 99% accurate [I have no idea how accurate they are]
Husband makes more uncomfortable movements. Clears throat.
Husband: You're full of crap!
Wife: I'm full of embryo.
Wife grabs husband's hand and places it on her belly.
Wife: Say hello to our baby!
Husband gives varying sounds of frustration.
Day continues with wife giving husband more evidence she is carrying his child. It is getting harder for him to tell. The "facts" she gives do match up.
The couple is now home from church. Husband teases wife.
Wife: Is that any way to treat your pregnant wife? rude..
Husband: If you're pregnant why did you take your birth control pill this morning?
Wife is stumped and trumped. Sounds of frustration transfer to her.

Okay guys. It's true. No baby in the belly. Hopefully not for awhile. A long while. A year at least. But I'm SO excited and thankful for Clint to be a daddy to our sweet babies. Oh, and I almost forgot the part about how he's going to make our children dang attractive!

See what I mean?!
He's so patient, loving, and kind. I'm certain he will make the best father. He has all the qualities! I'm so thankful to have such a great man to be the father of our children. Hopefully later, rather than sooner. But not too later. Maybe like 14 months, 3 weeks, and a couple days would be a good time to get pregnant.
To our future babies: Get excited kids! You are in for a treat! And if you ever talk mean to your daddy, you will get a horrible, terrible punishment. Maybe no games for a whole weekend!

hahaha! i have seriously done that a million times to my husband. I think birth control screws you up, and makes you feel all nauseated, so that may be why you are feeling that way. I know that it made me feel that way! haha, you are super funny. i love the way you write, and think, and talk, and everything. bloggy bff's? mmk.

and you and your hubs= HOT babies.

Ha ha ha ha. That's great. My husburger would have reacted the same way. How do I know? Because I cry wolf all the time. He's going to be in such denial when there actually is a baby nugget in my belly. He probably won't believe it until it's in his arms.

Just so everyone knows, I was 90% sure she was messing with me but the facts were adding up and she really is great at pranking so I got a bit scared! She's the best and I would've been happy if it were real too :)

Seriously you are so cute. This just made me laugh! Especially the full of embryo and nudging the "future father." I love the silliness.

Hahahaha I LOVE it!! I wish I would've thought of doing something like this to Eric!! Just kidding. He would've been heartbroken if it wasn't true.
But I love this! You're too cute :)

p.s. Do you think you're nauseous because of your birth control?? I always took mine at night so that I'd sleep off the yucky side effects!
