I think you guys are great.

Really, I do.
Thank you so much for your sweet comments and e-mails.
I really loved to hear that my words helped some of you.
Again, if you have any questions or would like to know more about my stories, let me know. For the purpose of curiosity, not so much. But if you need the help and support, I'm there for ya! So many people helped me in my time of need and it made a huge difference for me.
If you haven't read my previous post and you're single, were single at one point, or were never single [who are you?], it might benefit you to do so.
:)

Okay.
I know you guys want to hear about the wedding. And trust me, I'm dying to tell you! But, I want to wait until we get the photos back from the day of the wedding. Those will come soon! To prep you may want to read the story of how the we became the us. Click on the link "The best love story ever written" on the right side of my blog to read about our dating, friendship, and engagement.

Today is a sad day. Today is the day Clint and I both resumed our normal work schedules. I'm 4.5 hours into my 9 hour work day and I already miss Clint like crazy. I'm a baby. Ask me how excited I am for him to leave me for THREE days in a few weeks? I'm a newlywed, I'm allowed to be cheesy. So
Since clint works weekdays, and I work nights and weekends, it's very difficult for us to find time to spend together. Since I knew it was coming, I spoiled Clint these last few nights with homecooked meals. From now on it's sandwiches and fruits for week night dinners for the next for 1.5 years until school is over!

Friday night:
Chicken Fajitas
Grilled chicken, red and green bell peppers, and onions. Sliced avacado. Fresh Salsa. Cilantro hummus.

Saturday night:
 Philly Chicken Pitas
Grilled chicken, Sauteed onions and peppers (i needed to use the rest of the ingredients fromt he fajitas). Melted cheese and cilantro hummus all on a warm pita. A bowl of strawberries on the side.

Sunday night:
Seasoned Talapia. Creamy mashed potatoes. Side salad with tomatoes, carrots, and cucumbers. Cheesy garlic biscuits.

Honestly, these biscuits were incredibly delicious. I wish I had a picture. You'd like the recipe? Stop twisting my arm, you can have it.

Biscuits:

2.5 C Bisquick
3/4 C  Milk (I used 2%, thinking about fat free next time to reduce some fat)
4 Tbs cold butter
1/4 tsp granulated garlic
1C Grated Cheddar cheese (you can do slightly less or more depending on how much you like cheese)

To brush on top:
2 Tbs Melted butter
1/4 tsp parsley flakes
1/4 tsp granulated garlic
pinch of salt.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine bisquick with cold butter in medium bowl using large fork. Mash until butter chunks are smaller than the size of peas. Add cheese, garlic, and milk. Mix by hand until ingredients distributed evenly. Roll apx 1/4 C size portions into a messy ball and place onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 13-16 minutes.  Mix all brush on top ingredients together and brush on top with pastry brush while still warm.

They're making my mouth water. Clint says they're just like the ones at Red Lobster. I've never been, so I can't judge other than to say they're flippin delicious. And easy. My favorite! I'm currently brewing ideas with quinoa. You haven't tried it? You seriously need to! It's so yummy and a great source of protien and iron. Eventually I'm going to try lasagna with quinoa. I'll let ya'll know how that turns out!
Have I told you guys how much I love being a wife? Especially to this guy!

Is it just me or do I totally have a dimple on the left side? I just discovered this last night.

p.s. I was trying to remember where I found this recipe after writing this, and it was from this blog [i modified it a little] and they totally say they're red lobster biscuits. Silly me and my brain :)
p.s.s. Is anyone else having trouble commenting on certain blogs?
