Life's little miracles.

About exactly a year ago my parents got me a Macbook for my birthday. Well, I paid like a third, but mostly they got it. If you'll remember from my last post (or maybe the one before, I can't remember) I spilt water all over it and totally destroyed it. It wouldn't even turn on. After paying lots of money with co-pays, medications, and other expenses associated with being sick, I was nervous about taking it in. Oh, and it didn't help that I had also missed out on three weeks of work (pay) already. Trying to save up for married life, I was starting to get stressed about financial things. I needed a light at the end of my tunnel. I had talked to two people on the phone who had said my repair would have to be sent off and would cost around $800 to repair. When you paid $900 for the computer, forget it. I was basically planning on buying a new computer. I made my appointment at the Mac store, and went to assess the damage. The guy helping me told me the same thing. It would have to be sent off and would cost about $800. We talked for a little bit while he tried to look into exactly how much my repair would be. He printed off the paper for me to sign with the cost. Amount due: $755. Amount you owe: $0. Wait, what? I asked him how this was possible, and he simply said "magic" and smiled. I have no idea how he could tell I needed help. I'm sure he saw my eyes starting to water. It might sound silly or like coincidence to you, but to me it was like Heavenly Father reminding me that he is still looking out for me and blessing me. With everything going on I've felt...I don't even know how to describe it. Lonely. Stressed. Sad. Helpless. Stuff like that. I am so thankful for this little miracle in my life.
