So here's another awkward attempt at an outfit post. I wouldn't call it a fashion post. That would be giving it much to much credit. But hold on clothing haters, there's more!
It's really awkward to get pictures of yourself taken when it takes 4.7 minutes to get the settings on the camera ready.
So what's been up with all you guys lately? Do you realize it's less than 5 days until Christmas?! Good thing I started my Christmas shopping before Halloween....!
When Clint and I got out of school I thought we were going to have loads of time. Little did I know! We've had so many projects around the house to do, family obligations, cleaning, applying for jobs, projects, etc, etc, etc. Clint and I have been really blessed to have a calling in our church to allow us to serve over the holidays. We've gotten the assignment to wrap, shop, and deliver Christmas to 13 families! 13! Just me and him! I went shopping today for some food and people probably thought I thought the world was ending tomorrow. It really has been great though. It's pushed us even more to remember the reason for the season.
Then, of course, I got to thinking. Why does serving others make us so happy? First, I think it's that we're serving another son or daughter of God. They're our family. We're in this together. And we know that's what Christ would be doing. Also, I think it's because of when we serve, we're able to feel that pure love (charity) for that person, and in turn feel of the Savior's love for us. It's a wonderful thing!
In other news, I am so so so so so excited to share our first Christmas married!! Have I told you lately that being married is the best? It's pretty much my favorite hobby. I'm also grateful to have a husband who is a piece of cake to buy for! Anyone else feel like their dad is the hardest person to find presents for in the whole entire galaxy? I usually spend about a month or more looking for a present, and when I can't find one give in at the last minute and buy a giftcard. I'm a lame daughter!
Oh guess what! After finals I finally gave in and logged into pinterest! Isn't that fancy shmancy? I don't really know how it works. I'm 107 years old when it comes to technology knowledge. View my account here!
I don't know how to share the images but here's some awesome quotes I found!
